--- title: "Check an Endorsement Email: Real Brand or Impersonator?" url: "https://caritalent.com/en/brand-email-check" --- FREE TOOL · NOTHING IS SENT # Is this endorsement email from the real brand? **Short answer** Compare the sender’s email domain with the brand’s official website that you found yourself. Watch for free email claiming to be a big brand, lookalike domains, links asking you to log in, and attachments that are apps or carry double extensions. Paste the details below; everything is checked in your browser. Updated 14 October 2026 · A helper, not a guarantee [Share on WhatsApp](https://wa.me/?text=Check%20an%20Endorsement%20Email%3A%20Real%20Brand%20or%20Impersonator%3F%20https%3A%2F%2Fcaritalent.com%2Fen%2Fbrand-email-check) Enter at least the sender’s email address. ## What does this tool check? * Free email claiming to be a brand, and domains that differ from the official site. * Lookalike domains one or two letters off, disguised characters, or a brand name attached to another domain. * Domain endings often used in scams, short links, links without HTTPS, and links asking you to log in or appeal a copyright claim. * Attachments that are apps or programs, double-extension files, macro documents and archives. ## What can it not check? It does not read email content or headers, so it cannot confirm the message came from the brand’s server, and it does not check domain age. For high-value offers, get the contract from the brand’s official contact and use CariTalent’s contract templates. [Free contract templates →](https://caritalent.com/en/contracts) ## Common questions Can this tool prove an email is real? No. It does not read email headers or check when a domain was registered. No red flags is not a guarantee; confirm the offer through the contact on the brand’s official site. Why are creators targeted with fake offers? Creator accounts are valuable for their audiences. In 2021 Google’s Threat Analysis Group reported a campaign that lured YouTube creators with fake collaboration offers, then planted cookie-stealing malware to hijack channels. What if I already opened a suspicious attachment? Disconnect that device, change important passwords from another device, sign out unknown sessions, turn on two-step verification and scan the device with antivirus software. ## Sources * [Phishing campaign targets YouTube creators with cookie theft malware ↗](https://blog.google/threat-analysis-group/phishing-campaign-targets-youtube-creators-cookie-theft-malware/) — Google Threat Analysis Group, 20 Oct 2021 * [Recruiter email check · KarirAman (ID) ↗](https://kariraman.com/alat/cek-email-perekrut/) [Check an endorsement offer →](https://caritalent.com/en/brand-check) · [No-fees policy →](https://caritalent.com/en/no-fees) ## Structured data ```json [ { "@context": "https://schema.org", "@graph": [ { "@type": "Organization", "@id": "https://caritalent.com/#organization", "name": "CariTalent", "alternateName": [ "Cari Talent", "caritalent.com" ], "url": "https://caritalent.com/", "description": "Direktori komunitas gratis untuk menemukan influencer, KOL, model, MC, staf event, dan host live di Indonesia.
